Aaron Pico, previously a prominent fighter in Bellator, is now set to compete in the UFC. The 28-year-old featherweight`s recent announcement of his move has sparked widespread discussion about his potential debut date and first opponent within the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Pico arrives in the UFC with considerable anticipation, boasting a 13-4 record from his Bellator career, highlighted by several impressive knockout victories.
Since the beginning of his professional journey, Pico has been under intense observation. Entering MMA at just 20 years old and hailed as a top prospect, he experienced an unexpected defeat to Zach Freeman in his debut. However, he subsequently won 12 out of his next 16 bouts, recently securing first-round finishes against experienced fighters Henry Corrales and Pedro Carvalho.
Following the PFL`s acquisition of Bellator in November 2023, Pico fought once under the PFL banner before transitioning to the UFC`s competitive 145-pound division.
