Alcaraz on Battling Past Struff at Wimbledon

World No. 2, Spain`s Carlos Alcaraz, shared his thoughts after advancing to the fourth round of Wimbledon. He overcame Germany`s Jan-Lennard Struff in a challenging third-round encounter with a final score of 6/1, 3/6, 6/3, 6/4.

“I knew it was going to be tough,” Alcaraz stated. “I had to stay focused on every single shot.”

He added, “His game suits grass well. He serves excellently and comes to the net. I am pleased with everything I did today. I`m proud that I managed to win in four sets.”

“Honestly, I felt I had to fight for every service game. There were many missed break points; it was a stressful match,” Alcaraz commented after the victory.
