Alexander Volkanovski is preparing for another championship fight, and with it comes a brand new set of custom fight shorts.
In the main event of UFC 314 this Saturday, Volkanovski has the chance to become a two-time featherweight champion. He will face Diego Lopes for the vacant title at Kaseya Center in Miami. The featherweight belt became available after Ilia Topuria vacated it to move up to the lightweight division.
Volkanovski will be wearing these special custom shorts for this important headlining fight, and you can see them featured below.
Volkanovski is now part of an elite group of UFC stars, such as Israel Adesanya, Alex Pereira, Zhang Weili, Max Holloway, Leon Edwards, and Sean O’Malley, who get custom gear for major fights. Stepping into the octagon this Saturday, it will mark Volkanovski`s 10th consecutive championship fight.
At 36 years old, Volkanovski lost his featherweight title to Topuria at UFC 298 by knockout. Now, he has a prime opportunity to win back the belt without needing an immediate rematch with Topuria. He is set to face a tough challenge in Diego Lopes, a popular fighter who has been on a roll with five straight wins since a close decision loss in his debut against Movsar Evloev in 2023.
