Eight-time Grand Slam champion Andre Agassi has revealed his top three favorite iconic looks on the tennis court. The American player, renowned for his bright and daring outfits, highlighted his most memorable styles.
Third place – the `pirate` style from the 1995 Australian Open: baggy shorts, a tight-fitting shirt, a bandana, a hoop earring, and a goatee.
“The look resembled `Pirates of the Caribbean`,” Agassi shared.
Second place – the iconic denim shorts.
“Nobody before me wore anything on the court except white shirts tucked into shorts,” Agassi noted.
First place – the look featuring bright `hot lava` colored cropped spandex leggings worn under denim shorts, combined with Nike sneakers.
“It looked cool, especially with the shoes. Back then, the president of the French Tennis Federation wanted to introduce a dress code, and at a press conference, I called him a fool. A rude but honest reaction to attempts to dictate what I should wear,” recalled the former world No. 1.
