Andrei Olhovskiy Analyzes Daniil Medvedev’s Recent Downturn

Two-time Grand Slam mixed doubles champion, Andrei Olhovskiy, has shared his thoughts on the recent decline in Daniil Medvedev`s performance. Following the Miami Masters, Medvedev is projected to drop out of the Top 10 rankings.

“It`s clear that he needs to step up and improve. Young players are not intimidated; they have discovered tactics to use against Medvedev. What previously brought him success is still working, but to a lesser degree now.”

“In addition to him holding the ball from the back of the court with less confidence, young players have started to play more aggressively, it seems,” Olhovskiy commented.

Evgeny Kafelnikov: Medvedev and Rublev need to work three times harder than before. It seems to me that neither Daniil nor Andrey has this desire.
