Andrey Olkhovskiy, a two-time Grand Slam champion in mixed doubles, shared his expectations for the upcoming women`s doubles semifinal at Roland Garros. In this match, Mirra Andreeva and Diana Shnaider are set to play against Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini.
Olkhovskiy stated that he is unsure who considers this match a `revenge` encounter, as he sees both pairs as evenly matched. However, he highlighted that the Russian players, Andreeva and Shnaider, have been improving their game and developing significantly since the Olympic final. In contrast, according to him, Errani is not progressing further and remains at the same level. “Andreeva and Shnaider definitely have a chance to win. That can be said unequivocally,” Olkhovskiy commented.
