Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev has shared his thoughts on beginning to work with Marat Safin. Rublev admitted that he is currently unsure about what this collaboration will lead to.
Safin has joined the coaching staff of the Russian athlete.
“The connection is easy. `Move your feet,` it`s all very straightforward.”
“Right now, we`re focusing more on the tennis aspect, paying close attention to that. I`m unsure if it`s a mental thing or not. We`ll see how things develop at tournaments.”
“I still don`t know what might come of this or how it will unfold. The opportunity just arose, I felt like it was worth trying – and that`s it, we agreed. What will come of it remains as much a mystery to us as it is to everyone else,” Rublev stated in an interview with `More!`.”
