He acknowledged Alcaraz`s less-than-stellar opening match in Miami but emphasized his strong support. Roddick is particularly captivated by Alcaraz`s game, stating that he follows it with great interest. He finds Alcaraz relatable due to occasional inconsistencies, which highlight the player`s real-time analysis and adaptation during matches.
Carlos Alcaraz is set to begin his participation in the Monte-Carlo Masters from the second round, facing the winner of the match between Fabio Fognini of Italy and Francisco Cerundolo of Argentina.
