World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka shared her feelings upon reaching the final of Wimbledon. Earlier in the tournament, she had defeated Elise Mertens in the fourth round with a score of 6/4, 7/6(4).
Expressing her thanks to the spectators, Sabalenka said in her on-court interview:
“First of all, guys, it`s so nice to feel your support. It felt today like you were on my side. With your support, anything is possible. Wimbledon is such an amazing tournament, I`ve always dreamed of winning it.”
