Brandon Moreno celebrated a victory in front of his home fans, securing a unanimous decision at UFC Mexico City.
The Mexican crowd at Arena CDMX cheered as Moreno defeated Steve Erceg, a former flyweight title contender, in the main event of Saturday`s Fight Night in Mexico City.
Competing in his tenth consecutive five-round fight, the two-time flyweight champion was determined to win in his native Mexico after previous unsuccessful attempts (0-2-1). “The Assassin Baby” overcame this challenge, expressing overwhelming emotion upon hearing the judges` decision, which favored him in four out of five rounds on all scorecards.
Following Moreno`s second consecutive win, fellow UFC and MMA fighters shared their opinions on his victory over Erceg and the overall dynamics of the fight.
