Former world number one Caroline Wozniacki shared her perspective on the competitive landscape in the women`s tennis tour.
She observed: “We`ve been watching Swiatek play consistently well on clay for quite some time, and she continues that performance. We see Sabalenka achieving strong results repeatedly. We also see Paolini, who has emerged seemingly out of nowhere, performing incredibly over the last year and a half.”
Wozniacki elaborated: “I believe we are witnessing stability and maturity among the players. Those who have been at the top for a while are gaining experience; they understand their strengths and weaknesses and have reached the crucial stages of tournaments. This experience is beneficial. However, it is exceptionally challenging to replicate the kind of consistent dominance that the Big Three or Serena [Williams] showed, winning almost every match. Everyone on tour wants to win and works hard every day, so competition will always be present.”
