World No. 7 Casper Ruud commented on his current sports form. Today, he is set to play against Jannik Sinner in the quarterfinals of the `Masters` tournament in Rome.
`About three weeks ago, before the start of the Madrid tournament, I would have answered that I wasn`t yet showing my best tennis. And today I will repeat those words. Of course, I managed to have a great tournament in Madrid and win, but I believe I can play even stronger.
I`m very happy that I`ve started performing successfully on clay courts again. After last year`s `Roland Garros`, I had a difficult patch with not many wins. Now a crucial stage of the season has arrived, and I really hope to finish my run in Rome well, and then spend the final weeks on clay before transitioning to grass`, Ruud said in an interview with Tennis Channel.
