Rising lightweight Chase Hooper is scheduled to compete on an upcoming pay-per-view event in Chicago. Hooper will face Alexander Hernandez in a lightweight contest at UFC 319, which is set to be held at the United Center.
“The Dream,” Chase Hooper, is currently riding an impressive five-fight winning streak since transitioning to the 155-pound division. The 25-year-old started his 2025 campaign with a unanimous decision win over veteran Jim Miller at UFC 314 in April. Notably, three of his last four victories have come by submission.
This will mark Alexander “The Great Ape” Hernandez`s 16th appearance inside the octagon. He is currently on his first consecutive win streak since his initial two UFC fights, having recently secured back-to-back decision victories against Austin Hubbard and Kurt Holobaugh.
The UFC 319 event is headlined by a highly anticipated middleweight championship bout featuring Dricus du Plessis and the undefeated Khamzat Chimaev.
