Former world number three David Ferrer has been re-elected as the captain of Spain`s Davis Cup team, securing the position until 2027.
In a statement, the local federation emphasized that it was “absolutely clear” David Ferrer was the right choice to continue as captain. Furthermore, his recent experience as a professional player gives him unparalleled familiarity with the ATP Tour dynamics.
Ferrer initially took on the role of the team`s captain at the end of 2023.
