Dirty Boxing is the creation of Mike Perry, a former UFC fighter and BKFC participant. It combines boxing and MMA elements in a smaller 18-foot ring with three-minute rounds. All hand strikes are permitted, including elbows. Fighters who achieve a knockdown can use ground strikes, but must remain standing while doing so. The promotion previously held a preview event last November where Yoel Romero secured a first-round knockout against Duane Crespo.
