Nick Kyrgios, the 2022 Wimbledon finalist, drew parallels between the players who reached the French Open semifinals and prominent figures in the National Basketball Association.
Kyrgios began by discussing **Novak Djokovic**. “It`s quite simple for me. He is, of course, the tennis equivalent of **LeBron James** on the Tour. The fact that Novak continues to perform and succeed nearing 40 years old… Everyone sees his level as he keeps competing with young stars.”
“With **Alcaraz**, it`s also quite obvious. Carlos is **Luka Doncic**. When you think of these athletes, you immediately see magic. They were born for their sports. Sometimes it seems everything comes very easily to them. Both are constantly smiling and confident. They simply enjoy what they do.”
“For **Jannik Sinner**, you have to think a bit more. But I would compare him to **Jason Tatum**. This is because both achieved success at a young age. Tatum became a champion in 2024, while Sinner has won three Grand Slams.”
“Now, regarding **Musetti**. He should be compared to **Tyler Herro**. Both have reached a new level this year. Tyler became an All-Star participant, he is good on offense, and I think he has earned the respect of his colleagues. And Lorenzo has also made a breakthrough, showing excellent results.
