Drake and Conor McGregor are wagering significant sums of money on the key fights at UFC 314.
Prior to Saturday`s pay-per-view event in Miami, both celebrities announced substantial bets through their gambling affiliations.
Drake revealed on Instagram that he is betting $545,000 on Alexander Volkanovski, the favorite, to win against Diego Lopes in the main event and reclaim the UFC featherweight title.
If Volkanovski is victorious, Drake stands to gain a $915,000 return.
This win would be crucial for Volkanovski, who is looking to bounce back from recent knockout losses in championship fights against Ilia Topuria and Islam Makhachev. The 36-year-old aims to become the first UFC fighter to secure an undisputed title after consecutive losses.
Lopes enters the fight on a five-win streak since a decision loss to Movsar Evloev.
McGregor is also involved, sharing a video on Twitter showing his $500,000 bet on Michael Chandler to defeat Paddy Pimblett in the co-main event by knockout.
Chandler, a former Bellator lightweight champion, is the underdog against Pimblett, having lost his last two fights and four of his six UFC bouts. Pimblett has a perfect 6-0 record in the UFC.
