Former world No. 12 Feliciano Lopez has drawn comparisons between the era of the Big Three in men`s tennis and the present day.

“When you compare eras, the last one was the greatest in tennis history, featuring three or even four absolute phenomena who would have dominated in any generation. Naturally, everything will seem less impressive in comparison. However, we now have Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz leading men`s tennis, and their rivalry is only going to improve over time because both of them will continue to get better. That’s where the focus should be,” said Lopez in an interview with EFE agency. Lopez was recently re-elected as Davis Cup director until 2027.
