Grigor Dimitrov: Recent Years Have Been Extremely Tough

World No. 18 Grigor Dimitrov commented on his 50th victory at the Masters 1000 level on clay courts. He defeated Valentin Vacherot in the second round of the Monte Carlo Masters (4-6, 6-3, 6-1).

“It’s nice to win 50 matches at the clay Masters. It`s wonderful, especially at this stage of my career… I don’t take anything for granted.”

“The last two or three years have been extremely tough both on and off the court. I have been trying to work on myself and give myself as much time as needed to put myself in the best possible position. Lately, I have come to appreciate the competition in tennis even more. It`s great,” Dimitrov said in an on-court interview.
