Holger Rune Reveals Turning Point in Barcelona Final Victory

Danish tennis player Holger Rune, winner of the ATP 500 tournament in Barcelona, shared his thoughts on his success. In the final, he defeated Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz with a score of 7-6(6), 6-2.

According to Rune, he had a difficult start to the match due to nerves. However, he managed to find his game as the match progressed.

“This victory is very important for me. It was a great match. At the beginning, I was a bit nervous because Carlos is playing amazing tennis. I needed to breathe properly and find my rhythm.”

“When Carlos got a break, I started to play better and found my tennis. The first set was a real battle. It was very important to win it, to seize the moment. I am very proud of myself,” said Rune.
