Australian Open champion Madison Keys shared her thoughts on her past performances at Wimbledon.
Reflecting on her history at the grass-court Grand Slam, Keys noted, “I`ve had some really good runs at Wimbledon, and obviously I was losing to people who were eventually making the final, and it`s a really tough surface too.” She added her perspective on results: “I also think there isn`t really this `you should have done better.` That doesn`t really exist. You have opportunities and you put yourself in those positions, and sometimes you`re able to win. Sometimes you lose.”
Keys` best results at Wimbledon include reaching the quarterfinals in both 2015 and 2023. In the most recent tournament, the American reached the fourth round before being defeated by Jasmine Paolini.
