Goran Ivanisevic, Novak Djokovic`s former coach, has weighed in on the ongoing debate about the greatest tennis player of all time. In a podcast interview, Ivanisevic stated his belief that Novak Djokovic is superior to both Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
“These three are the greatest players in history. Federer played the most beautiful tennis. Even when he wasn`t at his best, his matches were enjoyable to watch,” Ivanisevic commented.
“Rafa is a fighter. Nadal fought to exhaustion, always giving everything on the court. His 14 French Open titles are a record that will likely never be broken. However, Djokovic is the most complete player of them all and the greatest in history,” Ivanisevic concluded.
