June 28th is set to be a busy night for combat sports fans, featuring both the Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. boxing match and UFC 317.
DAZN recently announced the pay-per-view cost for the Paul vs. Chavez Jr. event. The undercard will also see former UFC champion Holly Holm return to the boxing ring.
This pay-per-view will be priced at $59.99, requiring a DAZN subscription.
This marks Paul`s first fight in 2025, following his massive event last November where he defeated former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. That spectacle reportedly garnered over 100 million viewers on Netflix.
The victory over the 58-year-old Tyson improved Paul`s record to 11-1. He now aims to add another notable name to his record by facing Chavez in June.
Chavez, now 39, is considerably past his career prime when he held titles and was a top contender across various divisions. His recent record stands at 3-3 in his last six bouts, including a notable loss to UFC legend Anderson Silva, whom Jake Paul previously defeated in 2022.
In his most recent outing, Chavez secured a lackluster decision victory over another former UFC competitor, Uriah Hall.
The card also features Holm`s first boxing appearance since 2013, as she is scheduled to face Yolanda Vega on the main portion of the event.
This boxing match is scheduled to compete directly with UFC 317. That mixed martial arts event is headlined by a fight for the vacant lightweight title between Ilia Topuria (moving up to 155 lbs) and former champion Charles Oliveira. The co-main event from Las Vegas sees Alexandre Pantoja defending his flyweight belt against Kai Kara-France.
UFC 317 will cost $79.99, in addition to an ESPN+ subscription.
