Czech tennis player Jakub Mensik, currently ranked 54th in the world, shared his overwhelming emotions after advancing to the semifinals of the Miami Masters in the USA. In the quarterfinal match, he secured a victory against French player Arthur Fils with a score of 7-6 (5), 6-1.
“I feel absolutely incredible,” Mensik stated. “I believe this is the biggest achievement of my career so far. I am thrilled to be progressing further. It’s crucial to maintain focus throughout these two weeks, which is challenging. The job is not yet finished.”
He further emphasized the importance of his team, saying, “I have an amazing team around me. Everyone in it does a tremendous job, and that’s the key to success. Whether we are experiencing great weeks or less successful ones, we all work diligently, and it pays off.”
