Jamall Emmers proved his formidable nature in his recent fight.
Returning to the Octagon after a year, Emmers faced Gabriel Miranda in a featherweight preliminary match at UFC Mexico on Saturday. Despite the layoff, “Pretty Boy” showed no signs of ring rust, delivering a knockout blow with a powerful right hand in the first round.
The fight started aggressively, with both fighters exchanging blows immediately. Miranda initially secured a takedown, but Emmers quickly regained his footing and dominated the striking exchanges. Towards the end of the first round, Emmers cornered Miranda and landed a devastating right hand, resulting in a knockout.
The knockout was so impactful that even veteran announcer Bruce Buffer was momentarily stunned, mistakenly declaring Miranda as the winner.
This victory brings Emmers` UFC record to 4-4, while Miranda`s record falls to 1-3.
