World No. 1 Jannik Sinner shared insights into which of his fellow players he maintained contact with during his three-month doping suspension.
“I barely kept in touch with anyone,” he stated. “I talked to Draper; we are very good friends, and he even came to practice with me. I also spoke with Sonego.”
Sinner added: “At the beginning of my suspension, I received several kind messages from some players, but from those I might have expected support from, there was nothing. However, overall, it`s fine; everyone is focused on winning. I didn`t have any video calls with any player. But I`m sure everything will turn out well. In any case, I prefer not to name specific names,” Sinner explained during the press conference.
