Jeamie Tshikeva caused a stir by flipping a table ahead of his fight with David Adeleye this Saturday.
The two heavyweights are scheduled to clash for the British title as part of the Joe Joyce vs. Filip Hrgovic event. At a press conference in Manchester, England, Tshikeva, also known as Jeamie TKV, engaged in a fiery verbal exchange with Adeleye.
The tension escalated as TKV, during their microphone back-and-forth, suddenly flipped the table in front of him, prompting security to intervene and keep the fighters apart.
This dramatic outburst did not lead to physical violence, but the two boxers continued their verbal sparring as they left the stage. They did not participate in the customary face-off after the press conference concluded.
Adeleye, with a record of 13 wins and 1 loss, is aiming to expand his collection of titles, having previously secured several minor championships. TKV, holding an 8-1 record, also has his sights set on more accolades after winning an IBO belt in February against Michael Webster.
