Jessica Borga has become the inaugural BKFC women`s featherweight champion after a spectacular knockout victory over Hannah Rankin. The fight concluded swiftly, just 32 seconds into the first round on Saturday.
From the opening bell, both fighters came out aggressively, exchanging powerful strikes. Borga quickly found her rhythm, landing more impactful and damaging blows.
As Rankin pressed forward, Borga unleashed a devastating punch that instantly knocked Rankin out, sending her crashing face-first to the canvas. The referee immediately waved off the fight, recognizing the knockout.
“I am the one and only Jessica Borga, and I`m only getting more dangerous. I don’t care who you are; send me anyone,” Borga declared after her dominant win. “I’m here to stay.”
Borga now joins Christine Ferea, the flyweight champion, and Britain Hart, the strawweight champion, as BKFC women`s titleholders. Hart recently defended her strawweight title against Tai Emery on Friday.
This victory marks Borga`s third professional bare-knuckle fight, maintaining her perfect record of 3-0, with all wins achieved by knockout.
