Former World No. 1 Justine Henin has weighed in on Carlos Alcaraz`s prospects of defending his title at Roland Garros.
Alcaraz recently secured his first career trophy at the Rome Masters last week, a significant boost heading into the second Grand Slam of the year.
“He is the main favorite,” Henin stated, as quoted by L`Equipe. “He impressed me, even though he was at rock bottom after the March US swing. We saw him smiling with his team in Rome, whereas in Monte Carlo he was still struggling to get back to a higher level.”
