Justine Henin was born on June 1, 1982, in Liege, Belgium. Her father`s name is Jose, and her mother is Francoise. Justine has two brothers, David and Thomas, and a sister, Sarah.
She turned professional in 1999. Over her playing career, she won 43 WTA singles titles, accumulating prize money totaling $20,863,335.
Henin claimed seven Grand Slam singles titles: the Australian Open in 2004, **Roland Garros (French Open) in 2003, 2005, 2006, and 2007**, and the **US Open in 2003 and 2007**. She was also a finalist at Wimbledon in 2001 and 2006. In October 2003, Henin first reached the **world No. 1 ranking**, a position she held for a total of 117 weeks.
