The second round of the 125th U.S. Open proceeded on Friday at Oakmont Country Club near Pittsburgh. Play on the challenging course was halted at 8:15 p.m. and suspended for the day due to adverse weather conditions.
Upon the suspension of the second round, only three players remained under par, with Sam Burns holding the lead at 3-under.
