A legal disagreement about energy drinks between Logan Paul and Inter Miami star Lionel Messi might escalate into a boxing match. Yassine Chueko, Messi`s bodyguard, has volunteered to fight on behalf of the famous soccer player and Ballon d`Or winner.
Chueko, who is trained in martial arts, became popular online for his impressive speed and quick reactions while protecting Messi both on and off the soccer field.
In an Instagram video, Chueko addressed Paul, saying that many people have been asking him about this potential fight. He stated that there is no turning back and proposed to “do the fight for the people.”
The conflict started when Messi launched his energy drink, Mas+, which Paul claimed had packaging that looked similar to his brand, PRIME. Reports indicate that Mas+ and PRIME have now filed lawsuits against each other.
Paul claimed in a TikTok video that Messi copied them and that they were countersuing due to trademark infringement. He jokingly said he would drop the lawsuit if Messi agreed to a boxing match in 2025. Paul`s last boxing exhibition was in October 2023, where he won against Dillon Danis. Now, Messi`s bodyguard is offering to take Messi`s place in the ring.
Chueko mentioned in his Instagram message that he hopes Paul receives his message and that after this, they should stop communicating on social media.
