Cory Sandhagen is looking to regain momentum after his three-fight winning streak was halted by Umar Nurmagomedov at UFC Abu Dhabi last August. Before that defeat, the former interim title challenger secured impressive decision victories over Rob Font and Marlon Vera, alongside a TKO win against Song Yadong. Sandhagen is currently ranked No. 4 in the division.
Ranked No. 7, Deiveson Figueiredo is making his fourth consecutive appearance in the bantamweight division, a move he made after a successful run at flyweight. Known as “Deus da Guerra,” he recently suffered his initial bantamweight setback against Petr Yan at UFC Macau. Prior to that, the former two-time flyweight champion had notched significant wins over Marlon Vera, Rob Font, and Cody Garbrandt in the higher weight class.
