Loïs Boisson: You Have to Know How to Handle Pressure to Win Any Match

World No. 361 Loïs Boisson spoke about whether she feels pressure at Roland Garros. The French Open semifinalist is set to become the new French No. 1 after the tournament.

Question: Loïs, many French players have previously mentioned finding it difficult to perform at Roland Garros due to significant pressure. However, you seem to be playing easily, without the weight of expectations. Is this the case?

Answer: I don`t think so. Everyone feels pressure. It`s probably especially tougher for French players at Roland Garros, that`s for sure. But you need to know how to handle it, otherwise, you won`t win a single match. I just try to do my best, and yes, there is pressure, but I manage it. It`s okay.

For me, crowd support is more of a bonus than stress. Although, I think for players from other countries, it might be really difficult. But personally, for me, it`s simply great to play in such an atmosphere,” Boisson said at the press conference.
