The highly anticipated fight between Mariusz Pudzianowski and Eddie Hall is officially set.
KSW has announced that the two giants of the World`s Strongest Man competition will face off at KSW 105 on April 26th. This epic encounter has been aptly named “The World`s Strongest Fight”.
Mariusz Pudzianowski, a Polish icon and one of the most decorated World`s Strongest Man champions with five titles, transitioned to MMA in 2009. Boasting a professional MMA record of 17 wins and 9 losses (with 1 no contest), the 48-year-old is looking to bounce back from recent losses to Artur Szpilka and Mamed Khalidov.
KSW 105 will be Pudzianowski`s first fight since June of last year.
Eddie Hall, age 37, known as “The Beast” and the 2017 World`s Strongest Man winner, is expected to make his MMA debut in this fight, although the official rules have not yet been confirmed. Hall has previously ventured into combat sports, including a 2-on-1 exhibition match in June where he impressively defeated both opponents.
In 2022, Hall participated in a boxing exhibition against Thor Bjornsson (“The Mountain” from Game of Thrones), losing by unanimous decision.
KSW 105 will be held at PreZero Arena in Gliwice, Poland. The event will also feature Adrian Bartosinski defending his welterweight title against Andrzej Grzebyk, and Rafal Haratyk defending his light heavyweight title against Ibragim Chuzhigaev.
