Mike Perry claims Misfits offered him April MMA fight with Dillon Danis

Mike Perry has indicated that he might have an MMA fight scheduled in the coming weeks.

In an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Perry stated, “KSI is unavailable, and Dillon Danis is interested in an MMA fight. I`ve agreed, but we need to see what Mams Taylor and Misfits decide.”

He further explained, “They are changing plans because Danis was originally supposed to box KSI. The date might be slightly adjusted, but it should be happening soon. I`ve said yes to fighting Dillon Danis in MMA, but Misfits needs to make a suitable offer.”

Perry`s last competition was a boxing defeat to Jake Paul in July. His most recent BKFC fight was almost a year ago at KnuckleMania 4, where he defeated Thiago Alves in just 60 seconds.

Dillon Danis was originally set to box KSI at Misfits Boxing 21, but KSI had to withdraw due to illness, which led to the postponement of the entire event. Danis is also scheduled to face Tony Ferguson under the GFL banner on May 29 in Los Angeles, as officially announced.

Perry speculated, “Perhaps Danis is hesitant to risk his fight with Ferguson. It also depends on whether BKFC is willing to take any risks. Danis will likely attempt takedowns, and I intend to respond with soccer kicks to his face. This fight would be in April.”

Perry concluded, “I`ll defend against his takedowns. He`ll probably pull guard, but I`m prepared with ground and pound. Let`s make this fight happen.”
