Four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka shared her thoughts on her evolving perspective regarding the Wimbledon Championships.
“I think my relationship with Wimbledon has improved now. I definitely appreciate it more,” Osaka commented during a press conference. She added, “I just loved watching all my favorite tennis players wear white and play on the grass. Especially Serena, Venus, and Roger with that cool shirt he wore one year.”
Looking ahead, Naomi Osaka is set to face Australia`s Talia Gibson in the first round of this year`s Wimbledon tournament. In the previous year`s event, Osaka reached the second round before being defeated by Emma Navarro with a score of 4/6, 1/6.
