The upcoming Noche UFC 3 mixed martial arts event, which was initially planned to take place in Guadalajara, Mexico, has been officially moved to a new location. The decision to relocate the card to San Antonio, Texas, was made because it became apparent that construction on the intended arena in Guadalajara would not be completed in time for the scheduled date.
Consequently, the Noche UFC card will now be held at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio. The event is set to take place on Friday, September 13th. This news was publicly announced during the broadcast of UFC Vegas 107 on Saturday.
Confirmation of the move follows weeks of widespread rumors and speculation. Concerns had circulated that the Noche UFC event, among possibly others, might need to find a different venue due to uncertainty surrounding the arena`s readiness in Guadalajara. This year`s card will be the third annual Noche UFC celebration, timed to coincide with Mexican Independence Day. The previous two editions of the event were hosted in Las Vegas.
