Novak Djokovic Shares Thoughts on Wimbledon 2025: “My Most Consistent Grand Slam”

24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic recently spoke about his immediate future plans and his physical readiness leading up to Wimbledon 2025.

He commented: “I`m not certain this marks my `last dance`. I aim to play for a few more years. My aspiration is to remain physically healthy and maintain the drive necessary to compete at the highest level. That`s the objective, but at this point, you can never be entirely sure. I do agree that Wimbledon might present the optimal opportunity for me – given the results I`ve achieved here, how I feel, and the way I perform on this surface.”

“In the last six editions of the tournament, I reached the final six times. I`ve consistently played very well here; it`s arguably been my most stable Grand Slam event over the past decade. Coming here always gives me an extra surge of inspiration to play my best tennis. We are all aware of the long-standing traditions, heritage, and culture of this magnificent tournament. Every time you step onto these courts, you truly feel that wonderful tradition.”

“Lately, I`ve been competing in matches at a very high standard. This serves as strong motivation for me to keep pushing forward. On clay, my chances of winning are likely lower than on grass. Physically, I feel good, and I believe my tennis game is also in a good place, based on what I`ve observed in training.”
