Pablo Carreno-Busta Shoves and Shouts at Umpire in Girona Challenger

Former world No. 10 Pablo Carreno-Busta had a heated argument with the chair umpire during his second-round match at the Girona Challenger against Iliyan Radulov (6-2, 5-7, 7-6(4)).

At 1-0 in the Bulgarian player`s favor in the decisive tie-break, a line judge called Radulov`s shot out. However, the chair umpire overruled the call after inspecting the mark on the court.

Following this, the Spaniard approached the umpire and pushed him in the chest. `Why? Why? Why at this moment? Call the supervisor! Call the supervisor (pushes)! Call the supervisor! Call the supervisor! Call the supervisor! You can give me a warning, but call the supervisor! (In Spanish.) Come on! Call him. Because you can`t do this, you can`t do this,` Carreno-Busta exclaimed.

The umpire initially refused to call the supervisor according to the rules, after which the tennis player insisted, stating he wanted to change the umpire. Eventually, the supervisor came onto the court, and after a 10-minute discussion, the point was replayed and awarded to Carreno-Busta.

It is noted that Pablo Carreno-Busta received a warning for pushing the umpire.
