Following his impressive victory at UFC 314, Paddy Pimblett has once again demonstrated his post-fight tendency to gain weight.
After defeating Michael Chandler in the third round of their co-main event fight earlier this month, Pimblett disclosed to UFC announcer Bruce Buffer that he had gained over 40 pounds.
Pimblett mentioned consuming numerous milkshakes after the fight and stated his weight the next morning was around 198 pounds, which he considers heavy for himself.
He elaborated that he typically reaches his peak weight when in the United States due to the food, but usually stays around 195 pounds when in the UK.
In his post-fight remarks, Pimblett expressed his ambition to fight former champion Charles Oliveira and aim for a lightweight title shot by 2026.
Pimblett affirmed his goal to become a world champion and highlighted Oliveira`s status as a former champion with multiple title defenses and reputation as a top submission artist, expressing his desire to compete against him.
