World No. 11 Paula Badosa has withdrawn from the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami due to back problems.
In the fourth round, the Spanish player was supposed to compete against Alexandra Eala. The tennis player from the Philippines has advanced to the quarterfinals without playing a match and will now face either Iga Swiatek or Elina Svitolina.
Previously in the tournament, Badosa defeated Victoria Mboko and Clara Tauson.
