Russian world No. 50 Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova commented on her performance at Wimbledon, where she has advanced to the fourth round of the Grand Slam tournament.
In the third round, the Russian player defeated former world No. 1 Naomi Osaka of Japan, winning 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. A crucial moment in the match occurred in the second set when Pavlyuchenkova saved a double break point at 4-4.
“I`ve been very strong mentally in all three matches here,” Pavlyuchenkova said after her win. “For a long time, I thought I didn`t like grass, but so far everything is going great, and I`m enjoying it.”
