American world No. 42 Peyton Stearns reportedly vomited after her victory over Japanese world No. 48 Naomi Osaka in the fourth round (Round of 16) of the WTA 1000 tournament in Rome.
Following the grueling match, which Stearns won 6/4, 3/6, 7/6(4), she was seen going behind the umpire`s chair where she threw up.
Stearns will now advance to the quarter-finals of the Rome event, where she is scheduled to play the winner of the upcoming match between Ukraine`s Elina Svitolina and fellow American Danielle Collins.
