The Professional Fighters League (PFL) launched its 2025 season with PFL 1, an event held at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando on Thursday night. This event marked the beginning of PFL`s new grand prix format for the year, replacing the previous season-based playoffs.
PFL 1 showcased the first round matchups for both the welterweight and featherweight divisions. The headline fight featured a clash between former Bellator welterweight champions Jason Jackson and Andrey Koreshkov. In the co-main event, Jesus Pinedo, the 2023 PFL featherweight champion, faced off against Adam Borics, a seasoned Bellator contender.
