UFC Flyweight Champion Alexandre Pantoja is set to debut unique custom fight shorts for his upcoming fourth title defense at UFC 317.
These new shorts are part of the UFC Unrivaled line, created in collaboration with VENUM. Pantoja will wear them during his championship bout against Kai Kara-France, which serves as the co-main event of Saturday`s UFC 317 pay-per-view event in Las Vegas.
Pantoja actively participated in the design process, incorporating his personal style and cultural beliefs into the shorts, consistent with other recent additions to the collection.
According to the official description, the design features mythological Japanese dragons, symbolizing power, wisdom, and good fortune. It also includes graphics inspired by ocean waves, representing his Brazilian heritage and the famous beaches of Brazil.
This fight marks Pantoja`s first appearance in the octagon in 2025. Known as `The Cannibal`, he had a successful 2024, defending his flyweight belt twice: first against Steve Erceg at UFC 301, and then submitting Kai Asakura decisively in the second round at UFC 310 in December. He originally won the title by defeating Brandon Moreno via a memorable decision in July 2023 at UFC 290.
