The Italian Open tennis tournament in Rome has achieved a new attendance milestone, breaking its record even before the event concluded. According to data released on May 13th by the tournament`s press service, a total of 362,836 tickets had been sold by that date.
This figure already surpasses the entire attendance count for the previous year`s tournament, which stood at 358,606 tickets.
Organizers are anticipating that attendance numbers will continue to rise significantly in the remaining days of the tournament, as the crucial men`s and women`s singles and doubles finals are set to take place.
