World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka was asked if she has ever played against someone who hits the ball harder than she does. The question came during her press conference after winning the WTA 1000 tournament in Madrid.
“I don`t know,” she replied, smiling. “Perhaps only when practicing with guys. For example, with Rublev – that was something! After five minutes, I said, `Okay, I`m done`. But power isn`t always the key to winning. You can hit hard but miss. Men`s serves, however, are definitely stronger,” the Belarusian added.
