After a one-year break, Scottie Scheffler, a two-time Masters champion, is once again creating the menu for the Masters Club dinner.
This annual dinner, honoring the tournament`s defending champion, began in 1952 by Ben Hogan for past winners. It`s an exclusive event for Masters champions and the club chairman.
Scheffler, who won his second green jacket last year, has created a menu that truly represents his Texas background.
Dinner guests will begin with appetizers including cheeseburger sliders, firecracker shrimp, and meatball and ravioli bites. The meal continues with Texas-style chili, followed by a choice of cowboy ribeye or blackened redfish as the main course.
For dessert, a warm chocolate chip skillet cookie with vanilla bean ice cream will be served.
This menu is quite different from the Spanish flavors of Jon Rahm`s 2024 menu, but it is similar to Scheffler`s menu from 2023.
It seems Scheffler believes in sticking with what works, and it does make you think about the tortilla soup.
