He recalled a personal connection to the artists, noting that he walked out to Eminem and Lil Wayne`s collaborative track “Drop the World” for his very first kickboxing match.
Connecting these dots, O`Malley offered his interpretation of the back-to-back name-drops. Speaking to the camera, he declared, “It’s a sign. It’s a sign I’m going to beat Merab.” This refers to a potential future fight against Merab Dvalishvili, the current number one contender in the UFC bantamweight division and a widely anticipated opponent for the champion.
While interpreting celebrity name-drops as cosmic validation might be a stretch for some, O`Malley sees a deeper connection, perhaps fueling his self-belief ahead of a challenging technical matchup.
